Viva Sound II is an arranger keyboard with 61 full-size keys, a stereo speaker system, learning system and a wide selection of sounds and rhythms with accompaniment. In addition to being powered via the included power supply, Viva Sound II can also run on batteries (6 x AA batteries/not included).
The sound section contains 300 sounds. These include 6 piano sounds as well as a wide range of organ, string, synthesiser and guitar/bass sounds, while the rhythm section offers a broad selection of rhythms with matching accompaniment in styles such as pop, rock, jazz, Latin, country, gospel and even dance and funk. The extensive selection of sounds and accompaniments allows you to play all your favourite songs yourself with a full orchestra and a wide choice of different sounds. As a supplement to the many sounds and accompaniments, Viva Sound II is also equipped with a percussion panel, where you can trigger different percussion sounds or even play complete drum rhythms yourself.
Viva Sound II has 300 different sounds that realistically reproduce a wide range of instruments, and you will quickly learn how to switch between them. In addition, Sound II has a built-in accompaniment function, allowing you to control a full orchestra with your left hand, selected from the 300 built-in rhythms. For example, if you choose one of the rock rhythms, your left hand has access to a classic rock band with genre-appropriate instruments. The orchestra then follows the key or chord that you play with your left hand, while with your right hand you can play the melody using one of the 300 sounds available in the keyboard – for example, an electric guitar or a rich Hammond organ. If you choose another rhythm in a different musical genre, you get an orchestra playing the instruments that characterise that particular style. The accompaniment function in Sound II can also create both an introduction and an ending for your music, and it can create “fill-ins”, allowing you to vary and mark transitions from, for example, verse to chorus and back again. This means you can play complete pieces of music even before you have properly learned to play the keyboard, which is highly motivating and encourages you to play even more.
The built-in learning system in Viva Sound II is based on 80 built-in songs (well-known evergreens), which can be used as a basis for learning to play the keyboard. Select a song from the library and start it, and the large LCD display shows which key/note to play in the melody. The keyboard then creates an accompaniment that waits for you while you find the next note.
Viva Sound II comes with a built-in LCD display and includes both transpose and tuning functions. In addition, Viva Sound II is equipped with a built-in metronome and a split function, which makes it possible to divide the keyboard into two identical sections, useful when 2 people need to play the keyboard at the same time. If you want to practise or play without disturbing others, you can connect headphones so that only you hear the sound from the keyboard, while the built-in battery operation allows you to take the keyboard with you and play even where mains power is not available.
