Viva Sound II is an arranger keyboard with 61 full-size keys, a stereo speaker system, lesson system and a wide selection of sounds and rhythms with accompaniment. In addition to being powered by the included power supply, Viva Sound II can also run on batteries (6 x AA batteries/not included).
The sound section contains 300 sounds, including 6 piano sounds as well as a wide range of organ, string, synthesiser and guitar/bass sounds. The rhythm section offers a broad selection of rhythms with matching accompaniment in styles such as pop, rock, jazz, Latin, country, gospel, dance and funk. The extensive selection of sounds and accompaniments lets you play all your favourite songs with a full orchestra and a broad range of different sounds. To complement the many sounds and accompaniments, Viva Sound II is also equipped with a percussion panel, allowing you to trigger different percussion sounds or even play entire drum rhythms yourself.
Viva Sound II has 300 different sounds that realistically reproduce a wide range of instruments, and you can quickly learn to switch between them. In addition, Sound II has a built-in accompaniment function, allowing you to control a full orchestra with your left hand, choosing from 300 built-in rhythms. For example, if you choose one of the rock rhythms, you get a classic rock band with genre-appropriate instruments available to your left hand. The orchestra follows the key or chord you play with your left hand, while you can play the melody with your right hand using one of the 300 sounds in the keyboard – for example, an electric guitar or a rich Hammond organ. If you choose another rhythm from a different musical genre, you get an orchestra playing the instruments characteristic of that particular style. The accompaniment function in Sound II can also create both an intro and an ending for your music, and it can create fill-ins, allowing you to vary and mark transitions, for example from verse to chorus and back again. This means you can play complete pieces of music even before you have properly learnt to play the keyboard, which is highly motivating and encourages you to play even more.
The built-in lesson system in Viva Sound II is based on 80 built-in songs (well-known evergreens), which can be used as a basis for learning to play the keyboard. Select a song from the library and start it, and the large LCD display shows you which key/note to play in the melody. The keyboard then creates its own accompaniment, which waits for you while you find the next note.
Viva Sound II features a built-in LCD display and includes both transpose and tuning functions. In addition, Viva Sound II is equipped with a built-in metronome and a split function, which makes it possible to divide the keyboard into two identical sections, useful when two people want to play the keyboard at the same time. If you want to practise or play without disturbing others, you can connect headphones so that only you hear the sound from the keyboard. The built-in battery operation also lets you take the keyboard with you and play even where mains power is not available.
